NaMo’s yoga pose through the day: Pavanmukhtasana or wind relieving pose

Yoga have a strong backing around the world stage since Narendra Modi necessary observing the International Yoga Day. Recently few enthusiasts even performed yoga while in the Great Wall of China to mark the time. Our PM has been tweeting yoga poses every day and today’s yoga asana is pavanmukhtasana or wind relieving pose. This asana is wonderful?to remove abdominal gas and enhance blood flow inside hip and joints.

Steps to carry out the asana:

  • Lie flat on the floor using your hands from the sides of the body with your legs outstretched.
  • As you inhale, bend your legs and slowly bring the crooks to your chest.
  • Lift the head up and touch your knee with all your forehead.
  • Hold this job for a couple of consecutive breaths.
  • As you exhale, slowly release your legs to the ground.
  • Lay in shavasana or corpse pose for some seconds and sit in sukhasana or easy pose.

Word of caution:
Avoid this asana when you’ve got blood pressure levels, hernia or slipped disc.
